PCX Ships Modular Switchboard to International Grocery Chain

Raleigh, NC – October 8, 2020 -- PCX announced today the company has completed shipment on a free standing modular NEMA3R exterior main switchboard, to feed power from the utility transformer to the critical areas of a brick-and-mortar location for one of the premiere international grocery chains. The free-standing modular switchboard will enable the international grocer to save valuable square footage within their location, as its compact design and exterior installation allows for the grocer to maximize all interior space within the location for essential products and services, instead of utilizing it for infrastructural needs and equipment.

PCX developed and shipped the product over an eight-week span, after taking the lead on the project from the international grocer’s previous supplier. Bob Carroll, PCX Customer Success Manager, states PCX was able to bypass supply chain issues and expedite lead times, thanks to the company’s client-focused approach. “By working with a solutions provider like PCX, we were able to use a vendor-agnostic approach to source and implement the best in class components to meet the grocer’s requirements,” said Carroll. "The most critical requirement in this case, was the schedule, and we prioritized it accordingly.”
