PCX Completes FLX-MDC Data Center Shipment to Global Retail Chain

Raleigh, NC - August 27, 2020 -- PCX announced today the company has completed shipment on their 60kW FLX-MDCTM modular data center, for one of the world’s largest retail superstore chains, to improve the efficiency of the chain’s distribution centers. The data center, which was ordered in May of 2020 and constructed over a 12-week span, was delivered to the chain on August 20, 2020 and subsequently energized on August 25. The on-premises data center will officially go online in the coming weeks.

PCX Conducts Virtual Factory Witness Testing Due to COVID-19 Restrictions

Raleigh, NC – May 11, 2020 – PCX announced today that the company has performed their first virtual factory witness test, due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, for a large hyperscale data center client. The test, which was requested by the hyperscale data center client, utilized live, high definition 6k video and screen sharing sessions to verify that the purchased equipment within the commissioned data center’s first core electrical room had been installed and assembled correctly, while operating according to the customer’s specification.

PCX Completes First Shipment of PPE Sterilization Chambers to Aid COVID-19 Relief Efforts

Raleigh, NC – May 1, 2020 -- PCX has announced today that the company has shipped the first group of personal protective equipment (PPE) sterilization chambers to a global research and development organization, for deployment across the United States. The first order of 25 PPE sterilization chambers were manufactured and expedited over a two-week span to aid COVID-19 relief efforts, provide proper decontamination protocol for N95 respirators and actively mitigate the N95 respirator deficit. The medical industry project, coined “Project Lifeguard”, will provide PPE sterilization chambers across 14 current operational states, including New York, New Jersey & California, with future sites in 18 other states.

PCX Transfers, Recertifies & Adds Site to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

Raleigh, NC – March 25, 2020 -- Today, PCX has announced it has transferred and recertified its ISO 9001:2015 quality management system with Advantage International Registrar (AIR), for the company’s Clayton facility, while adding a second certified site in Raleigh. The recertification and addition of a second certified site ensures PCX’s manufacturing, management and documentation protocols remain organized, efficient and continually improve, to provide services and products that meet customer and regulatory specifications. PCX’s quality management system was assessed and certified through a 4.5-day on-site audit from AIR assessors at the Clayton and Raleigh facilities.
