PCX Director to Present at 2020 Open Compute Project Workshop

Raleigh, NC – October 26, 2020 – PCX announced today they will have a company director presenting at the 2020 Interpack Virtual Conference, as part of the Open Compute Project (OCP) Workshop on October 28, 2020. The OCP workshop will emphasize the importance and vitality of open collaboration, for the future of efficient computing and data center advancement, made possible by affiliates and organizations who are willing to work in-tandem, while sharing ideas, specifications and research to innovate within the industry. The workshop will take place from 10:50 AM – 12:10 PM, with seven time-slots led by individual OCP leads.

Rob Coyle, PCX’s Director of Sales and Marketing, will be presenting as the project co-lead of the Data Center Facilities group from 11:25 AM – 11:40 AM. The facilities group, led by Coyle, is looking to educate and secure collaborations with individual company representatives, engineers and other interested parties to further maximize data center performance and improve efficiency. The group focuses on and continues to help advance the five functional areas of the data center -- including power, cooling, IT space layout and design, monitoring and control, and operation.

Coyle looks forward to the event and collaboration with other data center experts to innovate within the space. “I am excited to join my OCP peers at this ASME [American Society of Mechanical Engineers] event,” said Coyle. “I have great respect for the organization and its members. By sharing OCP’s recent success and vision for the future, we hope to garner participation from a group with a different perspective and a wealth of knowledge.”
