Clayton, NC, March 3, 2018 -- PCX Corporation is pleased to announce that it has recently shipped three (3) Mobile Disaster Recovery Systems for a North American Government application. Two of the systems consisted of two (2) 750 KVA Eaton 93UPM UPS packages complete with batteries, 12.8 tons of HVAC and equipped with a fire detection system. The third system consisted of a 2,000 KVA NEMA 3R Eaton Substation Transformer, close coupled to a NEMA 1 – 2,500A UL 1558 Distribution Switchboard integrated inside of a “Walk-in” enclosure.
A custom designed external cable access feature was included to allow for easy field integration at the customer’s various sites. The challenge was to design and fabricate a compact mobile system that would facilitate rapid relocation and allow the client to upgrade their existing facilities without incurring unplanned power outages.
