Raleigh, NC, June 1, 2017 --  PCX Corporation is pleased to announce its participation in the Gregory Poole Power Systems upgrade of Electrical Power Backup Generation for the North Carolina Department of Public Safety.

The construction team chose prefabricated, modular construction for its inherent advantages of higher quality, reliability, shorter lead time, environmental benefits, and cost savings. Gregory Poole-PCX worked in tandem to achieve a smooth coordinated delivery and placement of two PCX FLX–EDC™ Prefabricated Electrical Distribution Centers with ATS Automatic Transfer Switches and two Caterpillar Cat® reliable power generation sets on the same day with a single crane.

PCX offsite fabrication removed construction traffic and distractions from a site where security is of great importance. Once again, PCX was able to improve safety, reduce site waste and provide higher quality in a less time compared to traditional construction methods.
