CLAYTON, NC, October 29, 2019 -- Today, PCX announced plans to hold an office Halloween Costume Celebration at their Clayton facility, for staff members to celebrate the holiday and engage in a festive team-building activity. PCX office staff can choose to dress up in Halloween inspired outfits for the duration of the celebration and will be welcomed to enjoy complimentary holiday-styled coffee, candy & donuts throughout the day.
PCX Office staff that choose to wear costumes will be nominated for a $50 gift card prize, and offered a congratulatory shout out on the corporation’s Instagram page. All office staff members will have the chance to individually vote for their favorite co-worker’s costume and nominate individuals for the prize. Once a winner has been chosen by the most votes, all costumed individuals and participating staff members will take photos together. These photos will be uploaded to PCX’s official Instagram and Facebook accounts, and can be accessed following the completion of the celebration.
PCX Human Resources Manager and the celebration’s coordinator, Katie Wood, stated these type of holiday work events exemplify PCX’s team-oriented and engagement-centered culture. Wood also stated the event encourages staff creativity and helps portray each individual's unique personalities to one-another, for team-building. “Our culture is a big differentiator, when compared to other companies in the area,” said Wood. “Seasonal celebrations like this are a great way to show employee appreciation, boost morale and provide a small, refreshing break from day-to-day routines.”
