Clayton, NC, February 14, 2017 -- PCX Corporation shipped a modular 600kW 2N UPS backup powerhouse to be employed in a facility expansion by a growing southeast eCommerce and Cloud solution provider. The modular powerhouse contained two (2) 600kW UPS systems housed in a modular enclosure measuring 50 feet long by 11.5 feet wide and 11 feet high. The system is supported by two (2) 51kW CRAC units to maintain and control the powerhouse temperature for the backup batteries. The entire system was built at PCX’s manufacturing facility in Clayton, NC and factory tested prior to shipment. The modular approach was utilized to minimize construction activity on site and shorter leadtimes.
