PCX Completes Electrical Skid Shipment to Cloud Computing Service Provider

Raleigh NC – June 22, 2021 -- PCX announced today the company has completed shipment of 10 integrated modular electrical skids to one of the world’s premier cloud computing service providers. The skids, which include automatic transfer switches (ATS), distribution and controls, will be utilized to power one of the cloud computing service provider’s critical hyperscale data centers.

PCX manufactured and deployed the skids over a two-month period, for the cloud computing service provider’s first of three designated building sites. These integrated electrical skids provided the client with the essential means to move a significant amount of work and production off-site, due to the skids’ plug-and-play style. This shortened the amount of time for the client to build and commission their data center, while expediting deployment and energization.

PCX was chosen to manufacture and produce the order based on prior communications and extensive experience designing, manufacturing and building integrated electrical skids. In addition, the PCX team worked to optimize the project's build processes, to further benefit the client. This was made possible through close collaboration with the client, in which the PCX team worked to find and implement efficiencies during design and production phases.

With this shipment complete, PCX will begin production on the second building site by the end of June 2021. For more information about PCX Corporation or any of its industry leading products and solutions, please call 919-550-2800, visit pcxcorp.com or network with us on LinkedIn.
